About Audrey

Adoption Fee: $100
Maine Coon / Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Well, hello there! My name is Audrey, and I'm an exquisitely beautiful, sweet, and calm smoke-grey and white Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix girl with a big plume of a tail and mesmerizing green saucer-eyes who was born in August 2014. Don't you just love my mustache and goatee? I promise you that I'm very ladylike despite those masculine markings! My favorite things are being petted and rubbing my head on my foster mommy, although canned food, treats, and catnip score high in my book. Although my fluffy coat needs brushing, I only allow it for a little while. Are you surprised that a Maine Coon mix could be blue and white? Well, if you watch the attached Animal Planet video, you'll find that Maine Coons come in white to black with all shades of tabby in between. I guess that you're wondering why a gorgeous lady like me is is need of a new home. I'm a perfect example that even those of profound beauty and popular breed mix can end up in deep trouble. Originally I was found as a tiny stray orphan kitten in an apartment complex and was dropped off at a caring vet office. They got me fully vetted and spayed plus found a wonderful home for me with a lady who really loved me. I grew up with her son and a small terrier, and everything seemed to be great for about 3 years. Unfortunately, she got married and couldn't take me with her when she moved out of the country in March 2018. She left me with her sister, who really didn't want me. When time came for her sister's vacation, she decided to drop me off at a kill shelter because she didn't want to make arrangements for my care. Fortunately some cat advocates found out about my plight, and I was rescued in the nick of time and whisked off to my new Buster's Friends foster home. All this change in a short time period has really turned my world upside down. I'd been the only cat in my home, and now I'm just one in a group of foster cats. In fact, the company of the other cats makes me hiss. And the big dog really scares me. So I'm looking for a patient adopter and a calm, quiet home to match my temperament. I'm sure that will help me chill out from all these drastic changes lately. I have so much love to give to a family -- maybe even well-behaved children -- where I can be the one and only animal and the grateful recipient of all the attention! Could that be with you? Audrey is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Audrey, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
