About Apollo

APOLLO is a Spitz mix male, neutered, microchipped. He is in Olympia, WA in foster making the long treck from SA, TX to the NW to find his loving forever home. He is heart worm negative, vaccinated, Rabies Vax, and Bordetella vax (kennel cough). Date of birth is 8/21/16...almost 2 yrs old. He is approximately 17#s. He is also house trained. He loves to sleep on my bed and is always at my feet when I'm at the computer. I feel he would be fine with children over about the age of 8 IF they know how to care for a dog. I don't think he would tolerate loud, young children pulling his tail and ears...not good. As long as they know how to pet a dog properly and be gentle. He has left the cats alone and done fine with all the other dogs here, small and bigger dogs. He is shy with new people, hence, we think a quieter mellower household would be the best fit for Apollo.
