Hello there. I have a pitbull mix named Roxanne (Roxie for short). I am having a baby soon and have noticed that she is not great with children. She growls and barks at them and while all of her experiences kids have been on leash or in a kennel, she lunges at them. I am worried about how she will act around a newborn. I have also recently signed a lease to a place that does not accept dogs over 20 lbs. Roxie weighs about 85. I have relentlessly tried to find her a new home and am running out of options and time. The thought of taking her to a shelter that is full and her being euthanized makes me sick to my stomach. She is a great dog. She is playful and loving and has a wonderful personality. She's about 3 years old, so she's still young and would be perfect for a family that does not have small children or other dogs. She is testy around other dogs when there are things like food or toys around. She had been in fights eith my mom's dog when she gets jealous or over food. She is healthy, microchipped, has been updated with rabies vaccination, and has been spayed. She has a kennel, a bed, a collar, leash, and I have plenty of food. Like I said, I am running out of time and need help ASAP to find her a new home. Please help!!
