About Marco

Marco, found in as a stray in south TX, might be small, but he is mighty! And, he is affectionately known as Mighty Marco. Although Marco looks like a younger puppy, he has adult teeth (which are complete by 6 months normally), so he has to be an older puppy and likely at his full size, probably no more than 22-25 lbs once he gains proper weight. He is super affectionate with people and is fine with cats. Well, he is inquisitive and will romp after them if they run (pesky cats!) but it is all in fun. Despite being small, he probably is too rambunctious for a home with young children, but he'd love a buddy (older child, adult or dog) for sure, as all pups do. Marco sleeps well either on the couch (natch!) or a dog bed, whatever the owner might want. His leash manners are good but he does get excited when he meets other dogs on the walk, so that is being addressed. He only wants to play! As all puppies should be trained, a positive training class is a must for our hero here. Marco is crate-trained and settles after a few minutes.
