About Dover

SUPER URGENT! Sweet Dover who is the shelter's LONGEST RESIDENT and #1 VOLUNTEER FAVORITE needs to leave by Thursday, July 23, 2018 at 7 PM if he is to leave alive. He needs an adopter or foster so his life will be spared. He is at a high kill shelter that is full and dogs are being killed. Dover is a great all around dog. He lived with a 2 year old. He is calm and loving. He has a nice medium energy when in the playlot. He likes to sniff, enjoy your company and jump in puddles. He loves the baby swimming pools at the shelter. He makes a beeline for them and will hop in and out of them the entire time he's outside. He's happy to self-entertain with a toy. He enjoys affection, knows the sit command, and comes when called. Several dogs passed him and he showed very little interest. However, he needs at this time to be an only dog - but he's the best dog. Please save his life before it's too late.
