Hello! It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you in a time of need. I own an extremely friendly lab/pit mix. He looks like a perfect split between a yellow lab and a pit, but both his parents were black. He is affectionate, smart and very loving. Good with older children (6+, he doesn't understand his strength sometimes), dogs and people. I have selfishly been keeping him, and trying my best to care for him, but I can only do so much. As a result, he has lost weight. I'm in the midst of an eviction. He's a few months behind on his shots, but otherwise healthy. He LOVES food (will literally do anything for food/treats), people, and pretty much everything. He is allergic to chicken. Great on leash. Loves the park and chasing balls/frisbee/you. I love him DEARLY, but I can't give him what he needs and deserves. I don't want to take him to a shelter, I would like for him to go to a rescue. I'm sure he would be adopted quickly, I just need help in finding him the perfect, caring, patient home. He is relatively house trained, but he has been having more pee accidents lately, likely due to the stress of our situation and less available food. In short, would you be able to help me? I would sincerely appreciate it. I would hate for him to end up in a fighting ring, or just left outside. Best
