FOSTER LOCATION: Adrian, OR Adoption Fee: $75 Age: 4 Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped Four year old Lilly Bea is a Black Mouth Cur mix who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue when her owners became unable to care for her. Lilly emits that special something that not all animals have; she has a calmness about her that allows others to feel calm, safe and secure. Her previous family had 2 women that had PTSD and she was amazing with them; she brought them comfort and security just with her presence. Lilly She is a bit cautious at first when it comes to strangers especially when it is in her home. She has a loud bark that she does not show off a lot, but if someone is in your yard she will let you know. Even though she is guarded, she will bond and connect to her owner and love them unconditionally. She is a huge cuddle bug and gives you the biggest puppy dog eyes when you tell her to get down off the couch. She is super smart and is up for learning new tricks. She knows sit, lay down, roll over (partially, she doesn't like to), go around, up, and if she is sitting you can hold your hand out and say paw and she will give you one then say other paw and she usually gives you the other one. She also loves to go on adventures; walks and running, the lake, hiking, and even the beach. Lilly does have a very strong dislike of children and cannot go to a home where there are any. This includes going places where there will be a lot of children unless she is muzzled; she has never bitten anyone but kids under about 14 trigger an intense fear in her. Lilly has been around dogs from 8lb chihuahuas to an 80lb poodle pointer and did great with all of them; but does not like dog parks as the chaos bothers her. She does like to chase cats and play with them. She will mouth them and get slobber all on them but has not injured any of them.
