About Lexi

Lexi is 3 years old spayed female Akita and weighs 72 pounds. She loves to run, chase and hunt rabbits, and would spend all day outside if she could! She loves people and loves giving them big hugs. Lexi knows basic commands such as sit, come, lay down, and 'go to bed' (go to her kennel). When its dinner time, she will sit and leave her food until you tap the side of her head and say 'ok'. Lexi is kennel trained and I try not to leave her more than 7 hours at a time. She does well if she is left alone for a few hours outside of her kennel. She is a great neighborhood watch and will alert you of visitors. Lexi does have a problem with incontinence when she is sleeping hard, so I use a washable incontinence pad that is left in her kennel as her bed. Lexi deserves a home with lots of space and people who can love her and respect her. Lexi would probably do best in a home without a lot of 'hustle and bustle', a consistent schedule we would also recommend no children, dogs or cats! She is fostered in Eau Claire her fee is $250 that includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate.
