We do our best to screen these dogs, but make no guarantees regarding the information posted.** Name: Oliver Age: 11 years (dob 3/17/07) Sex: Male (neutered, 44.5 pounds) Breed: Goldendoodle Location: Dallas, TX Vet Info: Oliver is up to date with his vaccinations and is neutered. Temporary foster has very good records of his medical information back to 2007. Vision quickly deteriorated over a two month period and by November 2016 Oliver was completely blind. Eye pressure is normal. Medical records show a mass was removed from one eye lid. Oliver has had chronic ear infections most of his life. He has fatty lipomas and moles from age. October 2016 a cancerous mass was removed from his anal area. As of 7/6/18, Oliver is heartworm negative. Oliver is microchipped. Owner Info: Oliver is now an indoor dog with run of the house. He is housebroken and leash trained so we are thinking that Oliver has not been crated in the closet for his entire life, that it must be a more recent thing. Oliver knows the command 'sit'. Temporary foster is teaching him 'step' for when he has to do stairs and is trying to teach him to lie down on command. Oliver is an outgoing dog that is good with men, women and children of all ages. His first real exposure to cats is with this foster and since the cats don't like having Oliver in their home it is unknown how he is with cats other than growling at them when he senses their presense. Oliver will also growl at other dogs but temporary foster states, 'I really think it is only a warning signal to let the other animal know he knows they are there but can't see them'. As far as temporary foster knows, Oliver has never bitten or snapped at anyone. Temporary foster has ordered Oliver a Muffin's Halo.
