Hello there, my name is Angel. I am a seven year old Mastiff mix with a passion for sunbathing and relaxing. I am a large dog at 103 pounds, but I won't be getting any bigger (unless you feed me cupcakes which I'm totally okay with). One of the perks of having a large dog like me is that I have a heart to match my size; I love laying near you and being affectionate. I am house-broken, crate-trained, and ready to find a forever home where I can play with rope toys and help out in the back yard by absorbing some of those pesky sun rays. I've gotta be honest, though, I've tried several times to get along with other dogs and I know that I would fit best in a one-dog household (one dog being me). I'm a big fan of humans, though! My current foster has teenagers and I think they're the coolest! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
