A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet. Shu 6 months old Shiba Inu mix 9 lbs. Look at this beautiful face, yet again how could anyone hurt or kill Shu, unfortunately that was going to be her fate in a horrible kill shelter in Korea until the rescue we work with asked could we take her & several others together. The adorable Miss Shu was pulled from the death camp of a shelter in Korea just before her little life was to be ended & went into the wonderful Korean rescue & into one of their foster homes then she was brought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen. This sweet little lady is full of puppy love & energy at 6 months of age, she loves to play with other dogs so it's mandatory she go to a home where there are other dogs present in the home who enjoy playing. She is so very sweet & affectionate with people, & enjoys being cuddled & playing outside as well as inside with friends. Shu rides great in a car & is learning on the leash. She does well around cats but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children. Shu is perhaps a Shiba Inu mix, she is 9 lbs & still growing, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, chipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, has been dewormed & looking for her forever family. Shu is extremely thin & her foster mums are working on fattening her up to where she should be but it takes time. She is loving the care & devotion her foster mums & her foster dog brothers are giving her right now. As with all of our rescues & Shu's friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Ian & going through the process and have read his listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview, and a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Shu that meet all the requirements for this little sweet man. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Shu has an adoption fee of $765 & is ready for her forever home. **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
