About River

This is my precious foster, River. He is a DOLL! He's searching for a GREAT home who will love him and care for him for the rest of his life! Senior dog, approx 10 yrs old, 18 lbs. Needs to be an only dog - doesn't like to share his toys :). No children under 10 please. Fenced yard - no condos or apartments as he has a loud bark for a little dog - LOL. Must be able to afford regular grooming - every 6-8 weeks! Needs to eat a quality, senior dog food. Heat sensitive - must LIVE INDOORS only. River has been re-learning his house training and he has come a long way since I first got him - he now goes to the door when he has to go #2, but he will need to be supervised until he is 100%. He doesn't like to be crated, but when you're not home, a baby-gated off tiled area with a potty pad works great. Please contact me for more information. All applicants must submit an application and pass the application screening process. A home visit may also be conducted. Adoption must be done in San Antonio, TX at a SAPA adoption center.
