About Norman

Adoption Fee: $50
Mastiff
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Norman is an AMAZING DOG!I adopted him from the shelter two months ago. They told me he was good abs or ok with cats..I stressed that I had a cat! AFTER I adopted him they have ded me some paperwork with an evaluation in it that said NO CATS! I have worked with dogs my whomw life and could tell the monite I got him him home from his staring and chasing lio licking that he was looking at my cat as food. But I had to give him a try . Didn't want to send him back be use of thier mistake.:( I worked with him alot and as much as I know about dogs I even brought in a trainer. Started clicker training him with treats, worked a little bit only because he loves treats SO MUCH. BUT the more he settled in the more it shows he is very prey driven. He keeps trying to taste the cat so tight now I'm just managing the household to keep everyone safe and even though I've been crying so much that I have to part with him he deserves a household with no cat. Also he loves other dogs but has an over arousal issue and gets over stimulated. NEVER aggressive but often dogs have issues with over stimulation and Norman will not take a correction from another dog it just amps him up even more. So for that reason he would probably be best as an only dog. U less it's a BIG dog with the exactly playstyle as him. He plays very pawsy. Very very sweet dog have never seen him aggressive in ANY WAY EVER. JUST his over stimulation can cause problems and fights with other dogs...
