Mastiff mix

BECKETT NEEDS A HERO! Beckett is a beautiful Black Sabel Brindle mastiff mix who's about 4 years old and weighs 55 pounds. Shelter volunteers say He is SUCH a sweet man!!! Every time we walk by, he rolls over in his kennel begging for a belly rub! He is GREAT with other dogs that have stopped by to see him, and never barks or gets excited by anything that we have seen. He walks great on a leash, and keeps a very clean pen! (I just love that!) He was also very good with the cat in the eval room! Shelter Hold Ends: July 13 @ 4:00pm. That's all we know about BECKETT and it's enough for us to want to rescue him. If he isn't rescued by Friday, he will be killed early Monday am to make room for new intakes. BECKETT needs a waymaker, a hero. If you are interested in adopting, fostering and or pledging donations to help rescue costs, we may be able to secure a local rescue group to help him. Our pledge goal is $200. Hopefully a local rescue will step up and save Beckett if a suitable adopter or foster is found in time and donations are pledged to cover a portion of the medical and transport fees. WHY FOSTER? Fostering is the single most important thing you can do to save this pup's life. It gives the pup a little time and a safe place to shake off the past, decompress and enjoy some much needed TLC while the rescue finds its forever home. Most rescues supplies the food, preventatives, crate and volunteer support. OR CONSIDER FOSTER TO ADOPT. If you are thinking of adopting a rescue dog, foster-to-adopt is a great way to find out if a pup and your family may be a good match. If so you file an adoption application with the rescue within 3 weeks from the time you start fostering. There is no guarantee of approval and the adoption fee (averages $400) is non negotiable. If for any reason you do not adopt this pup, you need to be willing to commit to fostering the pup until a new foster or forever family is found. If you can't foster or adopt, DONATE TOWARDS KENNELING COSTS (average costs $15-$20/day). Doing so will increase the chances of a rescue saving this pup since they will have funds to keep a pup in a safe and clean facility until it is re-homed.'Please email if you can help.
