About Joey

Hey Everyone, This is Joey and he is a Cadaver Dog Program fail out! Dead bodies scare him (who knew, I don't blame him they scare me too!) So they decided that he would not make the best fit for their program. Now instead of being a working dog, he gets to be an adventure dog!! As in this dog loves to go on adventures!! He would love a running buddy, or a friend to go hiking with. He loves other dogs and he especially enjoys running and romping with them in the play yard. He loves people of all shapes and sizes including children and is an all around good boy. He is super high energy so an active family would be the best for him. He is very curious and will follow you wherever you go. He wants to be wherever you are either laying by your feet or trying to engage you in play. He is potty trained and crate trained and knows basic commands He loves to play ball and to play with his toys. We haven't cat tested him yet but it can be arranged, given his personality we do not think that he would do bad with them. He would love a home to call his own! He is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month. He can't wait to find his forever home!
