HORRIBLY NEGLECTED 2-3YR OLD PUREBRED CHOW CHOW NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT IT IS TO BE LOVED. SEAACA ID #19-00039 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA This adorable little guy is in desperate need of rescue. He is being kept out of view because he is reportedly reactive to other dogs. They were very busy at the shelter today, but did bring him out into the hallway for a few minutes so I could meet him. He sniffed me briefly and then checked out his surroundings. He has shown no signs of aggression towards people but has not been tested with other dogs. He has no apparently medical issues other than a scratched face and matted fur....poor little guy needs someone to take care of him. I hope we can find him a good home. While he barks at other dogs when they bark at him, this does not mean he is not friendly with them, poor guy probably is feeling terrible and just acting defensive. He seems to have goop in his eyes, he has crap all over his behind with horrible matting. How anyone let a young purebred chow get to this point is sickening.
