About Riley

Riley will be missed in our home. She is a very sweet dog that we rescued here in Austin when she was a puppy. She's been a part of our family for a few years now and then we had a baby. We also have another on the way and Riley avoids our toddler and has not shown any aggression but is uncomfortable around her. For this reason we need to rehome her because we will soon have two toddlers and worry about keeping them from her when she doesn't seem very comfortable. Riley is a very sweet dog who has never had an accident in the house, and adapts well to our lifestyles, whether we are relaxing that day or want to take her to the trails. She gets along with our German Shepherd and other dogs but there may be dogs that she doesn't get along well with. (She didn't get along well with our dominant German Shepherd at first but they worked it out). She loves her belly rubbed and sleeps in her kennel at night or on the bed or floor. She's in good health and loves her family and can be independent so you don't have to worry about constantly supervising her. She has been formally trained in a two week program so she has good manners and knows the basics. She loves to be outside and loves treats. She will make a great match with many homes. Homes with kids are fine if they are old enough to know how to respect her (not climb on or pull ears, etc.) Please contact me if interested - you will be getting a really good dog. Thank you.
