Bentleys background: Bentley is a chipped/spayed female pit bull dog, 6-8 yrs.old that was rescued several months ago from a very abusive/neglectful situation. She has been with a foster family for the past several months, unfortunately the family that took her in is now too preoccupied with kids and schedules to keep her, they are frequently not home and she is alone. In addition, they have decided if they are going to have a dog they want a more aggressive dog that barks anytime someone comes around; Bentley is a very gently, quiet dog that just doesn't bark. Bentleys personality and character. NOTE: Bentley would not be a good watch dog, she never barks and she is not aggressive at all. Rather she is a lover who likes to be inside snuggling on the couch or out in the yard while you work. She is just a really loving, sweet, sweet spirit in a pit bull body. She would be perfect for a woman that spends time in the garden and is home a lot, a woman who doesn't mind her staying by her side. She does not run around like an idiot and disobey, she is very obedient and will stay right by your side if you let her. she likes going for walks and getting playful, but she is not a high energy dog. She was never taught to play fetch with a ball but she has been taught some really cute tricks with the family that was taking care of her. I know this animal so well, I was the one who rescued her from that awful situation that she was in. The family, my daughter, agreed to take her in right away to save her, but has since decided if she is going to have a dog, she wants an aggressive dog that barks when people are around or walking by..... Bentley is the very opposite of this. I am working on getting a picture so please be patient. THIS SWEET GIRL NEEDS TO FIND HER FOREVER HOME, NOT ANOTHER HOME THAT WILL MISTREAT HER OR NOT LIKE HER THE WAY SHE IS.
