About Bluebelle

Meet sweet Bluebelle! She is a beautiful Black Cairn Terrier mix that was an owner surrender with her boyfriend and two babies from different litters (all whom have been adopted). The landlord said no dogs so this poor baby and her family had to leave! Sadly, Bluebelle has been adopted twice and returned to us twice but neither time were any fault of hers. The first time the families other dog did not get along with her; and most recently one of the children in the home had an allergy to her. We know her perfect forever family is out there looking for her. She is 5 years old and weighs 14 pounds. This girl was very confused in the beginning but she has quickly learned that being loved on and sleeping in the bed is pretty awesome! Once she trusts you she is the most loving girl who just wants to be with her person. We would recommend a fenced yard but are confident she would adjust to walking on a leash easily otherwise. She is good with kids of all ages. She has not been cat tested though. She gets along fine with other dogs but does not tend to interact with them much. She is fully vetted and is heartworm positive. Treatment for heartworm is simple and inexpensive when caught early. The new owner must agree to continue with the treatment and the rescue will pay for testing every six months until she tests negative. Bluebelle is also microchipped.
