About Gypsy Rose

Adoption Fee: $200
Pit Bull / Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

FOSTER NEEDED-She is currently spending her days playing with other dogs at a doggy daycare. Our goal is to get her in a foster home. CLASP pays all vet bills and reimburses the foster for food and other foster costs. ADOPT ME ζ Gypsy Rose 4 yr old Pit Bull-ADORES KIDS, dog friendly and LOVES getting in water. Gypsy Rose is a super mellow social butterfly that is more people motivated then dog. She is great with dogs but for the most part ignores them. She is very gentle so is she's absolutely wonderful with kids and seniors. Gypsy lived in home since she was a puppy with dogs and slept with the kids (8 and 12 yo) every night. Besides her desire to be with her people, her passion is water. Fill up a kiddie pool in the Spring and Summer, and its hard to get her out. Gypsy loves car rides, walks and hanging out where ever you are. She does not appear interested in hanging outside in the backyard at all, unless her kiddie pool is filled up with water or her people are outside with her. She goes outside to potty and is ready to come right back inside. In her previous home, they reported she would focus on squirrels and try to catch them and was able to get over a 6 foot fence in pursuit. But we have not experienced this at all. But just to be on the safe side she either needs a home with a 6ft fence where she is monitored while outside or a fence taller than 6 ft. She seems prey driven, so no cats, parrots or small pets (other than a dog) in her new home, please. Please contact [email protected] with any questions. ADOPTION FEE $200 Gypsy is current spayed, utd on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention and microchipped. Gypsy has had two dentals in her life. Rescue story: She was released by her owners who have had her since she was a pup. She is a passive, gentle dog who was getting bullied by the other two dogs in the home. The owners felt it was not a good environment for her anymore and would like to see her happy and relaxed, instead of living with the tension between the dogs.
