About Missy Miss

Come and meet Missy Miss. She is a 9 year old Chihuahua who weighs about 4-5 pounds. She is a super sweet little love bug who was surrendered to us by her owner when he had to go into a nursing home recently. Missy had a severe flea allergy when we first got her and as a result some of her fur is missing. However, after treatment with flea prevention and medicated baths, her fur is starting to fill back in and she is beginning to look like the pretty girl she used to be in happier times. She is heartworm negative, up to date on all her shots and is spayed. She is puppy pad trained and does not mind being in a crate. It is her safe place to relax when she needs some quiet time or when it is bedtime. She does not get anxious when left alone. Missy likes to be close to her person and loves to sit in your lap but she is a polite little dog and will always wait until invited. She is not very active given her age but she gets along well with other dogs and doesn't mind them being active around her. She has not been tested with cats or children. We feel she would do better in a home with older children or adults only. She is the perfect companion if you are looking for a well mannered lady to snuggle in quiet contentment by your side.
