About Leia

Please help find Leia a forever home!! Leia currently lives with her brother Luke and is an exceptionally sweet and affectionate nine-year-young cat. Leia is shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she is very affectionate and loves to sit on your lap while you watch TV. She also loves belly rubs and likes to 'talk' to you. Leia is wonderful around people and kids and does not mind being picked up. I have not seen her interact with other cats, but gets along really well with her brother. She seems wary of my two dogs, but in the past has ignored other dogs. Leia is up to date on his shots, healthy (albeit very overweight and currently on a diet), litter-box trained, and neutered with no known behavioral issues. She is also declawed. Leia's previous owner of the last seven years was forced to give her up due to her son's increasingly bad allergies and we are hoping to find her and her brother a new and loving home. I cannot stress how sweet this girl is and it's hard not to fall in love immediately upon meeting her. It would be preferred for Leia to stay together with her brother, but the priority at the moment is to find either one a home ASAP and they are both independent enough to be split up if needed.
