About Noah

Noah is around 2 years old, 15 lbs, breed unknown but possibly a Manchester terrier/ Chihuahua mix. *PLEASE do not inquire about Noah if you are not willing to rehabilitate him! He was abused and he is very scared of everything! Adopting Noah will not be easy, please consider this before reaching out. I just want the best for him. Noah is not housebroken but for the most part knows that he must go potty outside. He had one accident inside the house but I made sure to let him know it was not okay and he has not gone inside since. I take him on walks in the morning and at night and he usually waits to go potty during our walks. Sometimes he will go in the backyard but rarely. Noah is sweet, docile and smart, but I'm assuming he was physically abused by his previous owners so he is very distrusting of humans. I have only had Noah for 3 months but have already seen some improvement- he wags his tail often and comes to greet me at the door when I get home. He does not let me pick him up- at first it was a struggle to- and when I manage to get ahold of him he panics and tried to break free. But once in my arms he calms down. I really wish I could keep Noah, but I work 2 jobs and have another pup to take care of. I underestimated the amount of time and energy it would take to turn Noah into a trusting, loving dog. I can tell he has a sweet, playful soul, but has not been shown the love he deserves, and does not know how to react when approached by humans. Anyone willing to adopt Noah should know that it will take time and patience to care for him but it will be so rewarding in the end. Please consider giving Noah a second chance at love!
