About Choco Bear

A5181147 - Choco Bear Meet Choco Bear, a 7 year old adorable brown chow/Aussie mix. He is a shelter volunteer favorite and perks up for treats and whenever the shelter lets him out of his cell. Sadly, though, he has only been a few times in 45 days, but we have video showing just how happy he was when they finally did. We have videos we can send showing how he moves about great, and is friendly with all he meets. Unfortunately, he has been sitting in a cell until he passes his temperament test which we have been waiting weeks for. If no one expresses interest, this may never be done and this dog may lose his life as he waits. If you are looking for a sweet dog who just wants to give and receive love, Choco is the boy for you. We are looking for either an adopter, or a foster to save his life. Please understand that he has been somewhat neglected, so some of his fur is missing (which grows back), and he has some noted mild hip dyplasia. However, he runs around well (we can email you video) and the shelter did not feel he needed to be on any medication for this.
