About Daisy

Daisy is fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Daisy is a very sweet 10-year-old Boston Terrier who is in search of her forever family! She would do well in a quiet home, with or without other dogs. She coexists nicely with other dogs but doesn't play with them. She is not a snuggler either, but will follow you around, and does sleep with you on the bed. She spends a good portion of her day sleeping on the back porch or in the bed. Totally housebroken, she does not like a crate nor does she really need one. Food motivated, you can tell she had a lot of people food in her past life as she definitely knows what a refrigerator is. She barks to go out or come in. Walks well on lead, does not like car rides very much but will tolerate them. Daisy has the beginnings of cataracts in both eyes, and has two skin tags on her belly that are sizeable. They are able to be removed surgically without issue we were told. She would make an awesome dog for an older couple or person looking for the love and companionship of a canine. She likes to lie at your feet, but retains the stubborness and independence of a typical Boston. If there are any Boston folks out there, this could be your girl! As a senior dog, Daisy's standard adoption donation is $250, but she can be adopted by a senior adopter for $150 through our Seniors for Seniors program. Daisy is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative.
