SAY HELLO TO BACARDI! Bacardi is an adorable 5 month old Wire Haired Fox Terrier / Jack Russell mix boy. Weighing in presently at 7 pounds, this bundle of energy is the delight of all he meets! He is all puppy boy. Bacardi and his two siblings were rescued from a home and living in very poor conditions. He is very shy at first but loves to play once he settles in and gets to know you. Bacardi would love to have another playful dog to live with but we do not recommend he be adopted with a sibling. He is neither house or leash trained, so he will need gentle guidance and patience until he knows the ropes. At only 5 months old, he will need typical puppy training but will be a fast learner since he's the perfect age for learning! Bacardi understands the dog door, but as always when a home has a dog door, he is only allowed to use it when his foster is home and he can be supervised outside. Bacardi will thrive with a family that has an active family with kids older than 8 years of age that are able to understand and respect his small size. Again, another dog in the home that is similar in size, age and temperament would be great companionship for him. Bacardi is a longer coated breed, so he will need regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 8 to 10 weeks. Bacardi's adoption fee is just 250.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. He will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free puppy kibble that he has been eating. His adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
