About Billie

Billie is a high energy but loving dog. He needs a fenced yard (not chain link). I have a wood fenced yard with a small area of chain link and he figured out how to climb a tree and get over the low part of the fence. Now he can't be outside without supervision and has too much energy to be inside all day except for walks. At night, he cuddles up with his fur and human friends. He is super sweet but needs to be able to run without his leash. He also needs more training. If he could get his energy out, he would be easier to train. As much as he enjoys the outside, he loves to be inside on the couch watching tv with his head on your lap. I help with a local Beagle rescue and he came to me via an outside person who could not afford his vaccines. I took him in and got him caught up on vaccines, heartworm prevention and neutering and now I can't keep him because I'm worried about his safety if he gets out again but feel guilty trying to keep him quiet. He would be a great dog for an active family. He would jog with you or run along side your bike. He likes the car. Loves other dogs and loves all people he meets. I can't say enough of how sweet he is. He also has the softest coat. I have 3 dogs of my own at home and a foster and him....and it's so sad to let them all out to play except for him unless I can watch him. He also LOVES his toys. I'll miss him but I know he needs to be safe in his yard. He is also about 7 months old.
