About Corduroy

Corduroy is a 5 year old poodle mix who is looking for the perfect forever family. He came to us in need of a hair cut, so he got a spa day thanks to Shedding Clean Pet Grooming and looks like a brand new boy! Corduroy is a friendly boy, but needs a home with only children 12 or older. Corduroy is a lady's man and loves women, so he may prefer the women in his forever home. Corduroy has some anxiety and will sometimes chew on himself, so he does best with a family where someone is home often. Corduroy is leery of strangers and will bark if he sees strangers, but will warm up with time. Corduroy can be overwhelmed by other dogs, so he would love to be an only dog. If going home with another dog Corduroy needs a calm and easy going canine friend and needs to meet the other dog in the home before adoption. Corduroy is a good boy who is house broken and loves to go for walks! Corduroy will get very excited to see the leash and happily run to the door to go. He would love an active home with an active family. Corduroy weighs around 20 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $300. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
