About Biron

Adoption Fee: $150
Australian Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

My Family Had To Move. Biron was born about April 2, 2013 and weighs about 50 lbs. He is one gorgeous dog!!!! He is said to be pure bred and has a docked tail. Biron (I'm told named after a hockey player) is a very hairy boy so if you will need to LOVE fur and you'll need to be the kind of person that thinks it is a fashion accessory Biron is house trained, good on leash and loves car rides. He seems to have some wanderlust so will need a fenced yard or leash in his future. He does adore his humans and can be protective of them. They said he had a good temperament....well, their definition of this and ours vary a bit. He struggles with men more than women and he's fine with men when he knows them. They said he doesn't like horse play and will give a warning bark and may nip....did we mention he's beautiful? He can be alpha with other dogs, but is doing well in this pack so it likely depends on the other dog. He can be fun, silly, and loves to play fetch. Biron loves to run and go for walks. He can jump very high and loves to do tricks for treats. He does not do well with a training collar, not really sure what that means - an electric shock collar???? If so, as a general rule these are not a very good thing to use for training. He doesn't really care for baths, but does love toys, especially squeaky toys. His owners had to move and couldn't take the dogs. So, here you have it and he's surely not perfect, but we do feel there is a home out there for him. Have we mentioned that he is beautiful?
