About Rachel

Rottweiler
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Rachel is about 11 months old. She has lots of energy and loves to play with her foster brother who is a black lab. She doesn't do too well with other female dogs and she likes to play and wrestle in rottweiler fashion so I am not sure that she would be great with little dogs without a lot of direction and discipline. If you are a strong leader you could make that work. She is fine with cats. She hangs out with a little gray cat at her foster home often. She is a quick learner and aims to please. In the couple of weeks that we have had the pleasure of getting to know her, she has learned so much! She is walking well on a leash, she went from hating her crate to being fine with it. She is learning to sit & wait and take treats gently. When she first came to us she had a really bad habit of putting her feet in any water dish she came across and digging at the bottom of the bowl with her feet which not only made a mess, but it would pollute her drinking water, so we have been working on that and its barely an issue anymore. She wants to be a good kid, she is just getting a late start on her training. If you have been telling yourself that you want a puppy because you want to train her yourself, then Rachel is your girl. She mouths a bit like a younger puppy too. We are working on that too. She is a diamond in the rough, waiting for your guidance and leadership so that she can shine as bright as the stars! If you would like to meet this girl who is full of personality and love, please fill out our adoption questionnaire located under the forms tab on www.rottenrottie.com
