About Winston

Winston is a 2 year staffie. He currently weighs about 80 pounds. He is super sweet and affectionate. He is great with other dogs. He is good with kids. Although he would be best with older children. He loves to play and he might unintentionally knock a wee one down. Winston absolutely loves to ride in the car. He travels well. He walks well on a leash. He knows a few commands like sit, stay, down etc. He also loves water, if you want a dog to go to the lake with, Winston is your dog! Winston needs a home with a fenced yard or maybe a home with a large acreage. He loves being with his human to a fault at times. His past owner dumped him at a kill shelter. She did not have ample space for him to get exercise and he would get in to trouble when she left him unattended in her house. She refused to crate him at all as she thought it was cruel. Crating is a good training aid in most cases. She just was not willing to put the effort in to it. Winston is neutered, current on heartworm testing, vaccines and microchipped. He will receive a complete physical and a certficate of health from our vet if adopted out of state. The adopter will receive his health records with adoption.
