About Neo

Neo (I actually call him Nee-No) came into the shelter in March from a cruelty case. A huge logging chain held him captive while he waited for someone to decide to offer food and water. Those visits were few and far between. So when he arrived at the shelter, he was terrified to find himself under a new confinement with different humans. He didn't trust humans. So the weeks went by. Many would describe his demeanor as scary. He had this blank stare like he was looking thru to your soul. He hid in the back of kennel when anyone approached. Then as the months went by, he became more brave. He started to carefully take treats from my hand. Then it was time to brave. 'Let's go for a little walk N��e No'. First the slip lead. That went well. It seems the treats have paid off. So we slowly move out the kennel door toward the grassy area. I sure hope this goes well.... What just happened? He is wagging his tail. He is excited and full of life. His eyes are smiling. He is as carefree as a young puppy. This is the way life should be. This should be the beginning to his happy ending. So now what happens to Nee-Noo? That is up to you. Let's find this amazing boy his happily ever after. Let us know if you can help him.
