Wonderful Winnie! Here are 10 things that this lovely girl wants her new family to know about her: 1. I am a Bullmastiff and I'm about 4.5 years old. 2. I am friendly with men and women, and I like children older than five. 3. My foster home has a big male dog, and we're buds. I think a home with a larger boy dog would be a great fit for me. 4. Sometimes a small dog comes over to visit. At first, I was very curious about it, but over time, I've learned to love the little guy. I think I might be able to live with a smaller dog, if I was given a proper introduction over the course of a couple weeks. 5. I haven't had much experience with cats. I do chase squirrels and birds at my foster home, so I would prefer a family that was feline-free. 6. I am pretty laid back and independent, except during thunderstorms when I get scared. I'm not destructive when I'm nervous, but I do need a little extra attention and reassurance. 7. My foster mom says that I am sweet, affectionate, and easy-going. Some of my things to do are going on walks, sunbathing, eating, and hanging with my people. 8. I have perfected the art of walking on a leash, and I am polishing my housebreaking and crate training skills with my foster family. I also know basic obedience, but I can be stubborn and sometimes pretend that I forgot. 9. I am current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. 10. I have started heartworm treatment, and will come with all the medicine needed to complete it at my new home. Ready to give Winnie the forever home of her dreams? Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a 'perfect placement' so we know that they will not be failed again.
