The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less than ideal conditions so will need to be house and leash trained. Most have never lived in house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion Hi! My name is Buddy and I am a sweet little Maltioo boy who is about 8 years old and I weigh 6 pounds. I found myself in a very bad place and when my time as up, some great folks from B.R.A.S. got me right out of there. They took care of all my rotted teeth and had me groomed and now I just need to gain some weight. I am a very quiet little man who just needs a quiet home where I can snooze away my days and get yummy food and love. If you have the perfect home for me, please ask for me on your application.
