About Moxie

Moxie is super silky Russian Blue, about 9-years-old. We've had this sweet, beautiful girl since 2010 when we adopted her from a local high-kill SPCA. She's docile and loving and has not ever bitten, scratched or even hissed at anyone. We also have a male flame-point Siamese whom we adopted around the same time and they get along well. Moxie loves to be scratched and petted all over. She isn't a vocal cat, but is always nearby quietly looking for affection. She does have some health issues. She is a highly allergic cat. Vets haven't been able to say what she is allergic to. We've tried many different specialty and limited ingredient foods with varying degrees of success. Currently she's eating Whole-Hearted Limited Ingredient food available at PetCo. She needs a daily dose of prednisone to keep her allergies in check. She's developed litter box issues over the last year due to deterioration in her health and it is causing issues with my other cat and we are no longer able to keep her.
