About SOFIE

Soul Dog Rescue has two dogs ready for adoption. We are looking for one home to adopt this bonded pair. They must stay together. Their adoption fee is $100 for both dogs together. Caine and Sofie were owner surrendered to a high kill shelter in San Antonio at 11 years old. They are incredibly sweet, housebroken, good with dogs and cats and people. They are happy with one walk a day and to lie around the house relaxing and chewing on a stuffed toy. They are very bonded and must be adopted together. Caine is a 70-lb neutered male Rottweiler and Sofie is a 65-lb spayed Australian Shepherd. All of our dogs are fostered by our fabulous volunteers. It takes a village. We always have a need for new foster homes and donations of harnesses, leashes, collars (especially Martingale collars!), food bowls, unopened bags of food, dog beds, toys, and treats. We buy our dog food from Costco and PetSmart, we can always use gift cards. Many of our dogs are rescued from the streets of San Antonio and were literally starving to death.
