About Dumbledore

Sweet Dumbledore is one in a million. When we found him, his eyes were swollen shut from infection, he could barely breathe through his stuffed nose, and he was covered in fleas and dirt. He was withdrawn and would barely move - we thought he was very old and uninterested in people because of his behavior. Fast forward and couple months, and after many visits to the vet and a very good bath and groom, Dumbledore finally revealed himself! He is a totally sweet goofball who was so charming with his eye doctor and groomer that they donated some services to us because they fell in love with him so quickly. :) The infection in one of his eyes cleared up with medication, but when we did an ultrasound for his right eye we found it damaged beyond repair. At the doctor's advice, we opted to have it removed and it must have been causing him much discomfort, because as soon as that surgery was complete he became a totally different cat, playful and curious. Instead of a normal meow, he has a funny rasp that sounds like a duck quacking! He is playful and affectionate and adores belly rubs. He'll run up to you quacking, and then keeps quacking as he rolls on to his back asking you to come and give him a massage. He also loves the two young kittens he's with in his foster home, and is gentle and playful with them. Dumbledore (who should probably be renamed Alastor Moody now, ha!) is a loving boy who would love a low-key home, perhaps with another cat or two to keep him company. He is a chill guy with a unique smoke-and-white coat, maybe between about 6-8 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea-free! He combo-tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
