About Potter

Potter is an 8 year old, German Shorthaired Pointer that was found as a stray and never claimed. Potter was taken in by a nice family who had him checked out at the vet and brought up to date on vaccines. Potter is a great dog! The family went back and forth on claiming him, but ultimately decided that he and their current dog get along, but sometimes have quarrels. They feel that Potter does excellent with their children and cats, but think he would enjoy having all the attention to himself when it comes to dogs. Potter is pretty laid-back and low key. He would love to spend his days lounging around a home with his people with occasional walks and time outside in a fenced yard. He is very much a velcro dog and really doesn't want to leave your side. Potter is house trained and can be trusted to be left out without having issues. He is also ok in a crate.
