About MORPHEUS NEEDS DOC

MORPHEUS is an handsome, sweet people and dog friendly 1 year old, male 60lb blue heeler mix, in urgent need of a hero. The shelter where he resides is dangerously overcrowded and desperately trying to find homes for all their dogs, especially those with seniority since they are at highest risk of being killed to make room for new intakes. MORPHEUS has two strikes against him: his is one of the longest residents and he is heartworm positive so he needs pledges of $250 to cover his heart worm treatment The shelter is begging for help from Rescues far and wide. But rescues need your help. MORPHEUS is a super sweet dog, a happy pup who is people, dog and kid (only older respectful) friendly. He will make a great family dog if given the chance. Please email us if you are interested in adopting, fostering, fostering to adopt or pledging sponsor funds to help save MORPHEUS. Fostering is the one of the most important thing you can do to save a shelter's dog life. It doesn't cost you anything because the rescue supplies the food, preventatives, crate and volunteer support. Also if you are thinking of adopting a rescue dog, foster-to-adopt is a great way to find out if a pup is a good fit for your family. If not, the rescue will ask that you continue fostering the pup until a new foster or forever family is found. Even if s/he isn't the perfect match for your family and lifestyle, you will be blessed knowing you helped save your foster dog's life long enough for it to find a forever home. If you can't foster or adopt, consider donating towards boarding fees (average costs $15-$20/day). Doing so will enable a rescue to keep a pup in a safe and clean facility until it is re-homed.
