About Sierra

Once you meet this cute little face, you won't be able to get her off of your mind! Sierra came to us from Cumberland County SPCA where she was VERY popular and a volunteer and staff favorite. It's not hard to see why! Despite recovering from some embedded collar wounds, Sierra maintained the most lovable, sweet personality. She's smart, happy, and oh so wiggly! Sierra is ready to put her past behind her and find a family deserving of such a special dog. She is doing well in our play group, so we are pretty confident she'd do well living with other dogs. She knows sit, down, and roll over (kind of.. she rolls on to her back, but not quite all the way over!). There's no doubt you could teach her much, much more! At about 2ish years old, Sierra is beyond the puppy nonsense, but still young enough to keep up with active owners (if you happen to be active). She's also that perfect 'not too big, not too small' size at just about 40 pounds. Sierra is ready to meet the many potentials we are anticipating applying for this cutie. We are ready to find her perfect fit! Sierra was adopted and returned to us in part because she showed signs of separation anxiety in her home, so any potential adopters should be prepared to help her work through that. She also displayed some hidden ninja skills and was able to easily jump a 6 ft fence. This was easily remedied by someone being present with her in the yard, but potential families should be aware.
