About Samy

Age: ~1.5 - 2 years old Weight: 45 lbs Vet Record: 100% vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, male Samy is a smart guy who would love to have his own place to run around and explore. Samy does not like being in a kennel and would really prefer to have more space of his own. However, Samy is not a hyper dog and walks well on a leash. When you scratch his back, he will do his 'Samy Dance' where he hops around on his back legs and arches his back like a cat. Samy likes water and tries to catch it with his mouth if you spray him with the hose. Volunteers Emily and Ann gave Samy a bath during their most recent visit and, while he didn't love it, he behaved very well and did not try to run away. If you are looking for a Border Collie who is not super hyper or obsessive, Samy would be a great dog for you!
