About Minnie

She came to us as an owner surrender after being abandoned at a kennel for a new relationship. We always say, if you have to choose, pick the dog. Minnie was beyond terrified and overwhelmed. She had always been a snuggle buddy and even slept in her owners bed every night. She just didn't understand her new surroundings. A gracious and patient foster stepped forward and fostered Minnie, but she can no longer share with the other dog in the home. We need to place her immediately. Minnie is a 4 year old, Min Pin mix that is already on a weightloss program and is slimming down. She takes time to warm up to new people and very much prefers women over men. Minnie bonds very closely to one person and doesn't like to share the attention with other dogs. She would prefer to be an only dog because of this. Minnie is fine around cats. She is crate trained and potty pad trained, but she will also go outside. Minnie would prefer a fenced yard.
