About Lady Doodlebug

Lady Doodlebug is a happy and mellow girl that is thought to have some Australian Shepherd in her mixed with Cocker Spaniel. This 7 year old girl is only 40 pounds and was destined to be euthanized in a very bad rural shelter in Tennessee. She was too pretty and sweet and we just had to save her. Well worth all the effort and the expense for us to get her a dental and completely vetted so that she can be ready for the perfect home soon. This girl is like a velveteen bunny. Soft and gentle and sweet and she makes you want to cuddle with her. This girl will fit in just about anywhere�'�|..We prefer not to throw her in with loud and high activity families that have excited kids under the age of 6 yrs. That lifestyle every day would be hard for her. But a nice retirement or empty nester aged couple with visiting children or grandchildren would be just fine and dandy. Don't overlook this girl. We took these pictures when she was just out of the shelter and hadn't had a bath. She is looking prettier now and has an even bigger smile. But then again, she is alive today and that is worth a BIG SMILE!
