A mom and pup had been abandoned by someones house. That person tried and tried locating an owner- posting signs, reporting to the shelter, etc with no luck. Poor little mom was very very skinny and her nails were curling under- she was in very rough shape so she posted on Facebook that they needed rescue. We said we could take them if they could get a ride to us. Well at the time we were out of town but behind the scenes were several rescuers who made all the arrangements!! A wonderful young lady drove out to get them and bring them back where she held on to them until we got back into town. We now have them and they are doing wonderful. Molly is in very rough shape but she took great care of Kyle and he is just a happy, healthy, bouncy baby.. Temperament- Very playful and sweet. Loves, loves, loves attention Energy Level- Typical high puppy energy Dogs/Cats- They have met both cats and dogs and seem playful and happy with both. Housetrained- Using puppy pads This cutie is just a doll. He is very playful and loving. He looks just like a sheep -- so cute and fluffy. Absolutely loves everyone he meets. He will make a wonderful addition to any family wanting a super smart, loving, well adjusted baby to love. His mom is an older Dachshund mix we have never seen who dad is, however based on his Kyle's looks his dad was probably a Poodle. Please be aware puppies are a lot of work - they need a lot of training and socialization to grow into well behaved adult members of the family. As puppies they will sometimes mouth/bite and scratch in play. Children should be taught how to be gentle with all animals and to understand that puppies aren't trying to be mean but might accidentally scratch or bite them. If you have a sensitive child/children and wanting to get a pet for them maybe consider an adult that has been around children- they are a lot less work as well. Otherwise there might be a lot of tears and nonsense when the child doesn't understand why the puppy scratched or nipped them. So please be fully aware and do your research if you are considering a puppy. Adoption fee $300 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies, collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need.
