About FOSTER TO ADOPT MAX

MAX is an 2 year old, 60lb sweet and friendly, Dogue de Bordeaux mix in urgent need of a hero. The shelter where he resides is dangerously overcrowded and desperately trying to find homes for all their dogs, especially those with seniority since they are at highest risk of being killed to make room for new intakes. The shelter is begging for help from Rescues far and wide. But rescues need your help. MAX is a super sweet dog, a snuggle bunny and a happy pup who is people and dog and kid (only older respectful) friendly. He will make a great family dog if given the chance. Please email us if you are interested in adopting, fostering, fostering to adopt or pledging sponsor funds to help save MAX. Fostering is the one of the most important things you can do to save a shelter's dog life. It doesn't cost you anything because the rescue supplies the food, preventatives, crate and volunteer support. Also if you are thinking of adopting a rescue dog, foster-to-adopt is a great way to find out if a pup is a good fit for your family. If not, the rescue will ask that you continue fostering the pup until a new foster or forever family is found. Even if s/he isn't the perfect match for your family and lifestyle, you will feel blessed knowing you helped save your foster dog's life long enough for it to find a forever home. If you can't foster or adopt, consider donating towards boarding fees (average costs $15-$20/day). Doing so will enable a rescue to keep a pup in a safe and clean facility until it is re-homed.
