History- Maisie and Marley were at a small rural shelter where a friend of ours volunteers. Well one of these kids started showing signs of illness (it was not parvo as they were tested for it) so she took them to her vet for treatment. Once they got well she sent us a request to bring them into our program. We didn't have the room right at the moment but a wonderful gentleman offered to foster them for a week so we could make room. They are now ready to start looking for their happily ever afters. . Temperament- Very playful and sweet.. Energy Level- Typical high puppy energy Dogs/Cats- They have met both cats and dogs and seem playful and happy with both. Housetrained- I will contact the foster but it is my understanding he has a dog door. This cutie is just a doll. He is very playful and loving. Absolutely loves everyone he meets. He is a little smaller than his sister and just too cute. He will make a wonderful addition to any family wanting a super smart, loving, well adjusted baby Please be aware puppies are a lot of work - they need a lot of training and socialization to grow into well behaved adult members of the family. As puppies they will sometimes mouth/bite and scratch in play. Children should be taught how to be gentle with all animals and to understand that puppies aren't trying to be mean but might accidentally scratch or bite them. If you have a sensitive child/children and wanting to get a pet for them maybe consider an adult that has been around children- they are a lot less work as well. Otherwise there might be a lot of tears and nonsense when the child doesn't understand why the puppy scratched or nipped them. So please be fully aware and do your research if you are considering a puppy. Adoption fee $250 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies, collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need. Send us an e-mail to [email protected] requesting an application to adopt this sweetie!! Animals are seen by appointment only. An application must be submitted to us prior to making an appointment.
