She had lived in that home her whole life. The owner told staff that as she was hit by a car about 5 years ago and never taken for medical treatment so she walks a little odd. She healed up and doesn't seem to be in pain but you can tell something is wrong just by the way she walks. We will be sending her for x-rays though just to make sure nothing is wrong but more than likely they won't be able to do anything about it due to her age and how long ago it happened. Anyhow, she was adopted quickly after she was surrendered but then returned a couple days later because she wouldn't walk on a leash. She has been here for a few weeks and is fitting in perfectly. She is a very sweet little girl who loves love but isn't needy. She does need stairs to get on and off the couch but she uses them with no problem at all. Temperament- Very sweet and loving once she loves someone but can be a little fearful if someone moves to quickly and/or doesn't give her time to meet you slowly. She is super cute and smiles when she gets nervous. Energy Level- Lower mid level energy. Dogs/Cats- Good with other other dogs and good with cats.. House trained- House trained but she does not indicate I just automatically take them out every few hours. Beautiful little Bitsy would love a quiet home with someone that will love her forever. She is very sweet, mellow, and quiet. Due to her worried nature though she probably wouldn't do well with young children. An older teen or adult who wants to just hold her and lay with her while watching tv would be ideal. Adoption fee $200 includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, heartworm test (neg), collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need.
