Hi, I'm Orwell! I'm a mixed breed Australian Cattle Dog puppy. I'm 2 months old and I'm ready to find my forever home. My brother and sisters are looking for their forever homes, too. Their names are Huxley, Byatt, and Didion. If you are considering adopting me, please understand that puppies like me are a lifetime commitment. My foster parents could only guess at my breed, so they could only guess at what my adult size will be. Please remember that I will not be a little puppy for long; I take dedication, consistent training, and a lot of patience. You must be willing to house train me and provide obedience training. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
