PUPDATE! Meghan was sent to us from Dogs and Cats of Antigua with a report of painfulness or injury to her right shoulder. Today we took her for x-rays, which showed a lack of calcification in the long bones of the front legs. Thankfully the x-rays also show no fractures to the leg or shoulder! This condition is called Panosteitis, and can be very painful. That pain in the bones is likely what is causing her limping. The condition should resolve as she grows, but she will need pain management as she grows to keep her comfortable. Once we get her pain under control, she will be ready to start meeting potential adopters (3 We thank everyone for sharing this sweet baby's story, and every donation is greatly appreciated! https://www.paypal.me/nopawleftbehind
