About Bandit

This is Bandit, he is a 5 year old Yorkshire Terr and Chihuahua mix breed. He is fixed and up to date on vaccines. Bandit is up to date on all shots, was neutered and recently had a dental. This little bundle of sweet terrier energy will melt your heart! Bandit is 6 years old, 12 pounds of Yorkie/shaggy Terrier mix from Georgia where he lived with his 'mom' all of his life. She became widow, lost her home and became homeless, then they lived in her car. She sadly had to give him up so she could get services. Bandit has good house manners and knows to 'stay' when a door is opened. He knows sit and very responsive to his name. Bandit sleeps next to me in my bed with my own dog, either beside my pillow, behind my head or stretched out along my leg. Bandit is a good snuggler and enjoys belly rubs. He is a happy little dog and loves to for walks. Bandit walks pretty well on a leash and loves the free feeling on a long leash (not retractable). He barks when he needs to tell you something, like needing to go out. He waits by the door and if you don't notice, he will announce his need. He sits for treats taking them nicely. Speaking of treats - he is always ready for another so he will be easy to train further. He looks for you if you leave the room and will lay patiently nearby until you move on to another room. Not interested in toys but enjoys non-rawhide chews. He ignores my cat. Bandit assumes his place in the car atop the console between the front seats and watches the world go by. Good travel buddy as he loves to ride in the car. He would love a person(s) of his own in a quiet home.
